Celerant Technology Corp. Ranks Third Among All Retail Software Vendors
2007 RIS Leaderboard Study
Staten Island, NY (December 7, 2007)- RIS News released the 2007 LeaderBoard
Study, an annual ranking of the top retail software vendors worldwide, which
Celerant Technology Corp. ranked as the third best-of-the-best, for the mid-tier
retail market. Celerant also placed second for the Top Apparel/Footwear Software
provider and third for the Top Specialty Software provider.

In addition to Celerant's top overall achievements, the software company also
placed within the Top 5 standings for every other subcategory available, including
Total Cost of Operation (#1), Technology Innovation (#1), Return on Investment
(#2), Leaders in Recommendation (#2), Ease of Installation (#2), Ease of
Maintenance (#3), Overall Performance (#3), Leader in Broad Suites (#3),
Customer Satisfaction (#4), Quality of Service (#4), Quality of Support (#4),
Product Reliability (#5) and Leaders in Retail Concentration (#5).
"Creating software is an expensive endeavor, and creating broad suites is
usually a game for well-heeled companies," stated Joe Skorupa, Editor-In-Chief
of RIS News. Skorupa explains that the revenue factor plays a large role the
overall scores, providing a maximum of 5 points for the vendors with the highest
revenue. Celerant is an exception, and as Skorupa stated, "is a smaller company
that apparently packs a functionality and customer satisfaction punch beyond
their revenue size...Celerant topped the Technology Innovation list and therefore
deserves kudos."
RIS received 928 valid votes from 238 retail voters who reviewed 86 individual
software vendors for this study.
