Celerant Technology's 2008 User Conference in New York City
Another Successful Annual Conference!

Staten Island, NY (May 29, 2008) - Celerant Technology's 2008 User Conference was held May 8-9 in exciting New York City! Last year we again allowed our clients to vote for where they wanted the event to be held and received an overwhelming response for The Big Apple. In addition to the new location, the conference also had a new format which was widely appreciated by our attendees. "Overall, the 2008 User Conference was outstanding" said Tom Douglas from Bob Ward and Sons, based in Missoula, MT. "I especially enjoyed the new conference format with the first half-day focusing on the many new features in Command Retail. With this information, we can now make better plans for implementing these new features into our business. The Development & Customization Workshops were also a great addition to the conference. A couple of significant modifications will be available for existing and future Celerant customers based on the user feedback provided during these workshops. It was a real pleasure to be able to contribute to that effort."

Fred Smith, partner of Deborah Gilbert Smith, located in New Jersey, added, "We are new Celerant users, having only been 'live' since February 4th of this year. The conference afforded me the opportunity to put faces together with names, discuss issues, and meet other users. The break-out sessions were terrific - both in terms of the presentation and dialogue with the Celerant facilitator, as well as hearing how others utilize many features of the system that we have not as yet attempted. We now can plan how to implement them both to improve our business. I am looking forward to attending the annual conference to continue learning and exchanging ideas both with other users and with Celerant personnel."

Randy Park from Park's Sportsman, located in Orem, UT agreed that, "This was a great conference and our staff learned a great deal from Celerant as well as the other users in the break-out sessions. I am consistently impressed with Celerant not being satisfied with where they are and constantly raising the bar that enables the users to be able to gain more information from the Celerant system so they may run their business more efficiently. The opportunity to sit down with the decision makers in Celerant and be able to express your individual needs is very important to me. It shows me that the people at Celerant listen when the issues we discussed are in the upcoming new versions of Celerant. It validates to us we are with the right team."

The 2008 User Conference was not only an educational opportunity for our retail clients, but it was a way for Celerant professionals to create an exceptional experience for each of them. In addition to the new feature presentation on the first day of the conference, we incorporated more hands-on break-out sessions, training sessions and interactive workshops; all of which were pre-selected by each attendee.

"One of the most anticipated additions to this year's conference included the new workshops, where our clients were able to suggest new features in the system and learn the development process. Concluding the conference, these modifications will now be sent to our Development Department to be included in our next version," stated Ian Goldman, CEO/President of Celerant Technology. "The overall new structure of the conference allowed our Celerant professionals to increase client interaction and empowered them to leave with an increased level of confidence in both our system and company."

Research has already begun to determine the location for next year's User Conference and we will once again allow our clients to vote on their city of choice. We hope that next year's conference will be another great success!
