Celerant Technology Holds Second Annual User Conference In Atlanta, Georgia
Staten Island, New York (April 14, 2005)--Celerant Technology
Corp, a leading provider of real-time Java technology retail management
systems, held their second Annual User Conference, Learn, Share,
Empower, on April 7-8, 2005. Celerant clients from around the
country attended the conference at the New Horizons Learning Center
in Atlanta, Georgia, and more than doubled last year's conference
attendance.
"I thought the preview of Version 6 at the conference was great,"
said Celerant client David Libby, I.T. Supervisor of Peter Glenn
Ski Shops. "There are some vast improvements in the new version,
including multiple screens and a more customizable layout. Besides
the informative sessions, it was a terrific experience meeting
the Celerant staff and having the opportunity to mingle with other
Celerant clients."
Each user was provided with their own computer terminal for two
days of hands-on, interactive sessions on Celerant's current version
of software as well as Celerant's soon to be released, Version
6. The conference had several guest speakers from partners such
as Strophe America and Ultimate Technology, IBM, and Ant USA as
well Celerant clients who gave an informative presentation on
leveraging the Internet to expand retail business. Retailers were
also given the opportunity to conduct a one-on-one session with
a selected Celerant staff member.
"This conference was a huge success for us this year," said Celerant's
CEO Ian Goldman. "It gave our clients an opportunity to share
their learning experiences on Celerant with one another as well
as express any concerns they may incur face to face with Celerant
employees. The conference is not only a growing experience for
our clients, but it illustrates how we react to our clients needs
in order to advance our software to the next level.
