Blog SHOT Show 2017 Celerant Technology RecapThe 39th annual SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade) Show by NSSF drew nearly 65,000 industry professionals and gun enthusiasts from all over the United States and beyond.

Many firearm dealers visited Celerant’s booth to learn how they can effectively manage their in-store and online retail, range and A&D Book in a single platform. In addition, Celerant debuted its latest features and integrations including: iTOUCH 4473, Smartwaiver, ID card printing, and its digital marketing platform and services.

As a preferred retail software provider for the NSSF, Celerant was invited to be a keynote speaker at SHOT Show University. Jon Judy, Implementation Manager at Celerant, discussed how gun dealers can connect with the “mobile customer” through new mobile technologies and strategies.

“Celerant has a long history of leadership in developing solutions for the firearms industry, solving their complex needs of regulatory compliance and inventory management,” said Ian Goldman, CEO of Celerant Technology. “Through our latest innovations, we are pleased to help gun retailers increase revenue and lower costs by personalizing the customer experience and improving inventory control.”

Visitors to Celerant’s booth were able to see a demo of Stratus Retail, and learn how to make online reservations on a gun range within the software. Celerant also printed member IDs (on PVC cards) using Stratus Retail by simply scanning their SHOT Show badge and taking their picture using a web camera.

Finally, Celerant unveiled its new digital marketing platform. Celerant’s email automation segments consumers (in real-time), and automatically sends personalized emails based on their past purchases and demographics. Celerant’s SEO services increase the visibility of your E-Commerce website which boosts web traffic and, ultimately, conversions and revenue. Celerant’s client, Piragis Northwoods, a premiere wilderness outfitter, quadrupled conversions through Celerant’s SEO services.
