Latest integration allows FFL retailers to more effectively replenish inventory, display products online and fulfill orders
Staten Island, NY (February 21, 2018) – Celerant Technology, a leading provider of innovative retail software for the sporting goods and outdoor industry, today announced its integration partnership with Zanders Sporting Goods, a leading shooting sports distributor. This integration allows FFL dealers to gain direct access to Zander’s retail products and distribution services to streamline their inventory supply chain, for both in-store and online sales.
Automated Inventory Replenishment
Through this integration, dealers can access Zanders’ entire online catalog of over 40,000 products, select the products they want to sell, and import the data into Celerant’s point of sale database. By setting minimum/maximum inventory thresholds within Celerant’s retail system, purchase orders are automatically created, reviewed and sent electronically to Zanders when inventory is low. In return, Zanders sends a digital order acknowledgement and an advanced shipment notice (ASN) detailing information about a pending order prior to delivery.
“One of the biggest demands we hear from our customers is the need for an affordable and scalable technology solution. That’s why we are thrilled to be partnering with Celerant Technology” said, Stefanie Zanders, Vice President and Chief Operating Office for Zanders Sporting Goods. “Celerant offers an all-encompassing, turn-key solution that is ideal for small and mid-market retailers with limited technology resources. From a point of sale system to an eCommerce presence Celerant has it covered with their enterprise class technology”
E-Commerce Inventory Feeds and Drop Shipping
In addition to streamlining inventory replenishment, Celerant’s integration with Zanders allows retailers to display and sell Zanders’ merchandise online without stocking inventory or fulfilling orders. Celerant’s E-Commerce websites can accept data feeds consisting of Zander’s available inventory in their warehouse, and displays those products, including product descriptions and images, online in real-time. Once an order is placed online, including firearm sales, the order is sent directly to Zanders for drop shipping direct to the customer or to an FFL dealer for pickup.
“We are excited to partner with Zanders to offer seamless integration with a leading distributor of sporting goods,” said Ian Goldman, CEO of Celerant Technology. “Zanders is not only well-known for their commitment to firearm retailers, they are a family-operated business much like our company. Bringing together our innovative technologies and cultures with the Zanders’ family will promote business growth and efficiency for our clients and their customer base of over 32,000 active dealers”
