Retail Technology Project Manager/Trainer

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for someone with retail, business process, software training, and project management experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of all aspects of retail operations, including: warehouse, inventory management, back office, accounting, and point of sale operations. The ideal candidate will be conversant with the creation of business requirements, functional specifications, and project management. Finally, the candidate will demonstrate concern for the client’s satisfaction and strive for a quality delivery of Celerant’s solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Comfortably interact with IT staff (both client and internal), developers, quality assurance staff, and support personnel
– The creation of functional specifications to include business logic, mock-ups, work-flow diagrams, and use cases
– Analyze business processes and enable solutions to support client’s business needs
– The ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and apply them to a business environment
– Train new and existing clients on our advanced retail software, either on-site or remotely
– Create user manuals, tips for clients, webinars and other tools to assist clients
– Work with clients and internal employees to coordinate the various tasks for a given project
– Able to effectively and accurately delegate responsibilities
– Previous experience in time-sensitive technology projects
– Maintain excellent client relationships and communications at all times

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

– Knowledge of retail
– Technical/Software experience
– Training experience
– Project management experience
– 4-year degree from accredited University
– Willingness to travel (20%-40% domestic travel)
– Eagerness to learn and grow with a stable, successful company
– Highly organized with strong analytical skills
– Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with clients
– Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
– Proficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
