Celerant’s point of sale integration enables outdoor retailers to reach new levels of success with data-driven market insights by Grassroots

Through an integration with Celerant’s point of sale solution, Grassroots can harness the power of retail data to help independent retailers and manufacturers reach new levels of success.
Celerant’s multi-channel retail solutions offer an integration with Grassroots. Through the integration, retail data is transferred, anonymously, from Celerant’s point of sale database to Grassroots on a daily basis. The data, which includes the retailer’s in store and online sales, on-hand quantities and inventory on-order, is loaded into Grassroots’ data management system, which was developed by The Parable Group.
Powered by Celerant’s retail data and the Parable Group, Grassroots can aggregate and conduct a deep dive analysis of POS data from retailers in the outdoor industry. Leveraging this data, Grassroots provides a snapshot of the market, including sales trends, inventory turnover and brand performance to help participating retailers make smarter buying decisions, and optimize sales and markdown strategies. The data is segmented into region, brand and other data points- allowing retailers to better understand the brands that are selling, and not selling, in their local market. Grassroots also provides valuable insights to help manufacturers serve their retailers more effectively.
