As many retail shops struggle to implement curbside pickup and stay in business during these difficult times, Celerant quickly shifted focus by creating a new application that organizes and streamlines the curbside pickup process. By offering it to clients for free, small-to-mid-sized retail stores can switch to online sales with curbside pickup fast and affordably.

Many of Celerant’s retail clients, along with retail stores around the country, have closed their physical stores; while many are struggling to implement curbside pickup, especially those with limited staff and/or newer to curbside delivery. In an effort to help shops continue taking local orders, Celerant quickly developed a new application to streamline and organize the curbside pickup process; and reallocated internal resources to launch new eCommerce websites faster than ever before. To reduce economic hardships as a result of the pandemic, Celerant is offering their Curbside Pickup application for retailers free for 3 months.

Celerant’s Curbside Pickup Application– How It Works

Celerant’s Curbside Pickup Application™ integrates with Celerant’s eCommerce solutions- Cumulus eCommerce™, an affordable and powerful website for small business; and Stratus eCommerce™, a comprehensive platform with high-end capabilities. By adding a ‘curbside pickup’ delivery option to the online store, orders marked as ‘curbside pickup’ will flow directly into the application. Accessible from any mobile device, the application allows retailers to view their orders and communicate the status of each order to their customers’ via mobile text messaging. The text messages inform customers’ where and when to pick up their orders; and contain a link that, when clicked, automatically alerts the retailer they have arrived.

Information for Retailers: Getting Started

To help you continue to push forward through COVID-19 and beyond, Celerant is offering the curbside pickup application free for 3 months for your first store on a ‘first-come /first-served’ basis. To implement this application, single-store retailers simply need to add a new checkout option to their Celerant eCommerce website, called ‘Curbside Pickup’. Multi-store retailers will need to consider inventory allocation and taxation per store; however, the transition will be easier if you’re already offering ‘buy-online, pick-up in store’.
