Press Release
The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) will be exhibiting Project ChildSafe at Celerant’s annual client conference next week in Atlanta, GA. Project ChildSafe is a program dedicated to firearm safety and education, and Celerant’s retail software makes it easy for dealers to support the program by accepting donations in their store, range and website. To support Project ChildSafe, Celerant is contributing $1,500 worth of raffles to dealers that collect donations through Celerant’s retail software.
Through Celerant’s point of sale and eCommerce platform, dealers can give customers the option to donate at the end of each purchase. After enabling the pre-configured ‘ChildSafe’ template in Celerant’s backend software, a donation option will appear on the POS payment screen for store sales, and at checkout for online purchases. To make a donation, customers can either roundup their order to the nearest dollar, or choose a specific denomination. Dealers can also run a report to see all donations by store/range/online, ensuring they send the correct amount to Project ChildSafe. All donations are tax deductible.
To support Project ChildSafe, Celerant is offering two raffles at the upcoming client conference to firearm dealers that collect donations for the program through their Celerant retail software and/or eCommerce website. All participating dealers will be automatically entered to win the $500 raffle. The winner of the grand-prize of $1,000 will go to the dealer that collects the most donations over the course of the program. Prizes will be applied to the dealer’s statement for Celerant software and services.
Accept round-up donations at the point of sale and/or your eCommerce website by visiting https://www.celerant.com/partners/projectchildsafe/, and see Celerant’s retail solution in action.
