“We’ve been with Celerant since 2008 and have seen a lot of the changes in that time. The major thing we noticed about Celerant was their commitment to continued growth, development and effort. It is obvious Celerant prioritizes staying on top of what’s going on in the retail space and providing that to their clients”
– David Cliett, Director of Operations, Mast General Store

Interview: How Mast General Store used real-time integrations to streamline inventory management and sustain long-term growth
In this client spotlight, we sat down with Mast General Store’s Director of Operations David Cliett to discuss Celerant’s Retail Management System. Mast General Store began using Celerant in 2008, and was operating nine stores at the time and did not have real-time integrations, between those stores. In the retail industry a retailer’s most important asset is their inventory management; mismanaging inventory will cost retailers’ time, money and effort. This makes partnering with the right retail technology company that much more important, as it will make your organization more efficient while reducing costs, but also increasing sales, reducing overstock and out-of-stock allowing you to focus on the core aspects of your business.
Today, Mast General Store has grown from 9 stores to 11 stores, and has total control over their inventory. Mast General Store is currently in the process of developing a fully-integrated real-time E-Commerce website with Celerant’s Point of Sale. We are living in a consumer choice economy which means when a customer visits your website, or enters your store they expect a streamlined shopping experience. Part of that experience is having an E-Commerce website to support online and in-store sales. By developing this E-Commerce website Mast General Store is taking a major step to conquering the challenges and opportunities of connected commerce. When the website is complete Mast General Store will provide a seamless front-end and back-end experience for their customers.
