Highlights from Celerant’s 2017 Client Conference
Provided Clients with Practical Knowledge to Improve Daily Retail Operations
The conference kicked off with the ‘Partner Networking Event and Cocktail Party,’ where retailers from around the country met with Celerant’s partners. Clients got a firsthand look at their technology, and learned the benefits of incorporating it into their retail business. Partners included: iTouch Technology, OpenEdge, Sports South, SPS Commerce and STAR Micronics.
The next two days were filled with interactive workshops, networking events, panels and one-on-one sessions. Ian Goldman, Celerant’s CEO, commenced the conference by speaking about the importance of data and the role of company culture, and why it’s vital to a retailer’s success. Following Ian’s speech, the conference transitioned into breakout sessions covering topics such as: POS and E-Commerce, payment security, fulfillment methods, purchasing, digital marketing, and more. Each session was taught by a one of Celerant’s subject matter experts, focused on a specific part of the Celerant system or industry trend, ultimately providing our clients with practical knowledge to improve their daily retail operations.
The conference also included vendor and retailer panels. Both panels were moderated by Michele Salerno, Celerant’s Director of Marketing. During the vendor panel, SPS Commerce, Sports South and AcuSport discussed the how good vendor relationships can help your business perform more efficiently and effectively. The client panel featured several long-term Celerant retail clients (Piragis Northwoods, Merz Apothecary, Crown Enterprises, Schuylkill Valley Sports). Each retailer shared a unique story about how they leveraged Celerant’s innovative features to expand their business and increase sales.
“Our integration with Amazon [fulfillment by merchant and fulfillment by Amazon], helped us sell over 7 million dollars of products on Amazon last year,” said Anthony Qaiyum, Merz Apothecary. “Best Store Fulfillment helped us save 5 hours a day by not having to manually split orders, and it eliminated correspondence between stores when an order is placed” said Ryan Kistler, Schuylkill Valley Sports. “Celerant’s E-Commerce services helped us increase online sales by 60%, over the past 3 years. We also eliminated weekend E-Commerce payroll which reduced expenses and also paper usage by 80%.”
Celerant greatly appreciates all of the clients and partners who participated. Celerant’s 2018 Conference will be held in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
