Pros: Infinitely customizable. You can build it out a lot. You have to put the time in to work with the Celerant implementation to get things setup correctly. This can take several weeks to get up and running and then several months to get it perfect. Once you put that time and work in, you have a system that rivals much more expensive ones that are considered “big company enterprise”.

Overall: We were using Celerant’s entry level product Cumulus for years. We kept runing into limitaions that are inherant in the base product. We finally bite the bullet and upgraded to Celerant’s premier product and it is worth it. Upgrade was basically unlocking all of the functionality that were were missing. The support team for Stratus is separate from Cumulus. It is much better. The product also runs faster because you are moved to a dedicated server.
Ethan and Stephanie have been absolutely amazing to work with. When I first took over Peak Performance, I hadn’t had much training or contact with Celerant since the previous owners handled all of that. Then Ethan came on board as our new Account Executive, and everything changed. He got me set up with free training from his team and even came out to Omaha with Stephanie for some hands-on, in-person help. Having someone like Ethan—who actually gets what it’s like to work in retail—has made such a huge difference. The only downside is that this Account Executive role didn’t exist sooner. It’s been a total game changer having someone who checks in regularly and actually follows through. Before Ethan stepped in, my relationship with Celerant was pretty much nonexistent. Since then, he and Stephanie have completely turned that around. They’ve made sure I’m actually getting value out of the system, not just paying for a bunch of features I don’t know how to use. Ethan even brought coffee when he stopped by (major bonus points for that!). The new Account Executive position has made me feel so much more supported as a client. It’s great having someone who understands the realities of retail and genuinely wants to help you succeed. We’ve already made a ton of progress together, and I’m really excited to keep the momentum going into next year.
Quinn has been incredibly kind, patient, chill and super helpful/knowledgeable with the MANY questions I encountered as we opted from Command to Stratus for POS. All were pretty simple solutions for him… just me not knowing what to do! It’s a total pleasure working him him!
Pros: Upgrade from AmmoReady / Gearfire

iOS seems to have issues.
Overall: Happy to have switched and we’ve seen an uptick in sales. Would like it to be more optimized for iOS as many users had issues. Would like an easier portal to change the website for holidays/ special events/ etc.
Pros: Nathan offers customer service. always spot and response fast to my tickets and emails. Great communication.
Cons: UI is not intuitive without training. Ticket system is handle in India, so there’s a language barrier.
Overall: for the most part, pretty satisfied after the training from the American staff.
We started with Celerant Cumulus, their entry level product. Then we upgraded to Stratus and found it to be a much more powerful platform. We should have started with Stratus initially but the price scared us.

Pros:
It is a huge improvement over Celerant Cumulus and fills all of the needs we have in a multi store environment.
Cons:
It is expensive but worth it. We don’t really have too many cons. If we did we wouldn’t be using it.
Reasons for choosing Stratus Enterprise
Celerant is a larger and more established company with a bigger customer base and a deep support bench.
Reasons for switching to Stratus Enterprise
QuickBooks PoS was not powerful enough to run our business. Celerant Stratus and QuickBooks are not in the same universe.
Pros: Kimberley was extremely professional and helpful getting our store set up. She is extremely knowledgeable in the product and is always available for support. She was very patient with us learning the new system and always has an answer for any question we had! I know this process would not have gone as smoothly without the help from Kimberley!
Cons: We haven’t experienced any cons working with Celerant/Kimberly. I would recommend this service to any business for Point of sale and managing a store.
Overall: We have had a seamless transition from our old system (profits). Every meeting we had with the Celerant team has been on time, informative and beneficial to our business. They were able to transfer our existing inventory database which has made converting to the new system very painless. Kimberley is always available to take our calls and questions and follows up promptly with a response or solution. This is a great service for any store. Thank you Kimberley and Celerant.
We have been working with Celerant for several years now. We have two retail stores and are planning for a third. Celerant also built and hosts our web site and online store. Greg Dearle, our Account Manager asked me to leave an honest review. I think he was a little surprised when I said yes and I am going to give you 5 stars. I told him that when you have multiple complex systems across different stores, in different states, with different laws and taxes. With both stores fully integrated into our website. We are going to run into issues. What matters to me, is how the partners we work with respond to and handle issues. Celerant tracks any problems we have with a sophisticated ticketing system. There is reporting and online visibility into the system from the client side so we can see the progress and steps to resolve issues in real time. We know who owns any problem we have, and we can follow up with them directly. Or, Greg our account manager, assists in following up and/or escalation of the issue. The partnership we have with Celerant is a successful one and we see it as a long term one that can easily grow and scale with us.

Pros: I am a new user to Cumulus and have nothing but rave reviews. The ease of use of the software is outstanding(so far). The support that i receive is far above top notch. My implementation team that consists of Kimberly Mano, Nathan Gilbert and Scott Ward are very supportive and continue to be an invaluable resource to me as I grow my business.
Cons: As a new user, my challenge is really about learning the full functionalities of the back office and the software. However, the Cumulus team has continued to point me in the right direction and is supportive through each step.
Overall: Overall, the experience has been stellar. The software is intuitive, the support is consistent and thorough. I would recommend the company to anyone.

Our company converted to Celerant recently. The entire process was quick and simple thanks to Quinn McKee and his team at Celerant. We were trained weeks in advance to the go-live date, but of course you’re always going to have more questions. On the go-live day every team member answered every question I had in one quick phone call. No sitting on hold or trying to get to the correct person to help.
