So this is our 14th year exhibiting at the SHOT Show. We’re most excited this year because we’re launching our latest platform, Cumulus Retail. And basically, Cumulus Retail is a scaled-down version of our Stratus Retail platform, which is our more premier software solution. Cumulus enables dealers to manage their entire business with one software, their point of sale, their inventory, and all their vendor integrations.
Celerant Helps Stores Run Efficiently
Since the inception of Sports South, we’ve been a company that’s believed in firearms, dealers being as technologically advanced as we can, and more importantly they can get accurate data. One of the biggest benefits of partnering with Celerant for dealers, would be able to number one, have an efficiently ran store. If you have an eCommerce solution where he can, you know participate on online sales, the gun books there, that the date is there, it’s a great system.
Cumulus Retail Runs Both POS and eCommerce
Our partnership with Celerant was based out of our dealers need to have a number of options for both our POS and integration systems and we found Celerant to be a great partner. Celerant has been an industry leader in the firearms industry. They have a good reputation. We’ve done the SHOT Show launch this year with the Cumulus system and it offers our dealers a wide variety of options. But it’s still cost-effective.
Ideal for Brick-and-Mortar and Online Retail
Celerant’s a great company for the small brick-and-mortar store that can have an online presence tie-in with our inventory. They have access to 40,000 SKUs that we offer. The greatest benefit for the dealers to partner with Celerant is to streamline their process with placing the orders. The automation process, it really helps them get the orders in our system a lot faster.
Automating and Importing Vendor Catalogs
We’re letting our dealers automate their processes and import vendor catalogs, automate purchase orders, even on the e-commerce side. They can do drop shipping with their vendors. And so, it’s really giving the dealers the ability to sell in-store at their range, on their website, with one system at an affordable price.
