Press Release
Celerant Technology, a preferred retail software provider for the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), is celebrating its 25th anniversary alongside Project ChildSafe® with a special donation drive promotion. In recognition of this milestone, Celerant is offering a chance to win a comprehensive software package to support Project ChildSafe’s fundraising initiative.
As both organizations mark their 25th year of service to the firearms industry, Project ChildSafe and the NSSF have set an ambitious goal of raising $250,000 to support the development and availability of new educational resources. These resources will help meet the demand of Project ChildSafe’s industry and community partners for safety materials that can help prevent firearm misuse and save lives.
FFL retailers can participate by making a minimum donation of $25 to Project ChildSafe’s campaign. One lucky donor will win a comprehensive prize package from Celerant, including twelve months of free SaaS featuring One Cumulus Retail point of sale user license, five back-office users, a choice of one add-on feature, ten hours of training, and unlimited distributor integrations for catalog import and auto ordering. The winner will be drawn at SHOT Show at Celerant’s main booth #42502 in the Venetian Level 1 on Wednesday, January 22, at noon. Dealers can donate directly at Celerant’s main booth #42502, or through their existing point of sale system. The drawing will be a live broadcast with SHOT Show TV and Michele Salerno, CGO of Celerant, picking the winners for both drawings.
Your $25 donation will help them continue this vital work. For more details, click the link: Celerant.com/SHOTShow.
Be sure to visit Celerant Technology at the 2025 SHOT Show. Stop by the Venetian Convention Center, Level 1 at booth #42502, Caesars Level 2 at booth #72647, and at SHOT University on Level 3.
NSSF, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, launched Project ChildSafe in 1999 (originally as Project HomeSafe). Since 1999, the program has provided more than 41 million free firearm safety kits and gun locks to firearm owners in all 50 states through partnerships with thousands of law enforcement agencies across the country. That’s in addition to the more than 70 million free locking devices manufacturers have included, and continue to include, with new firearms sold since 1998. While helping to prevent accidents among children is a focus, Project ChildSafe is intended to help adults practice greater firearm safety in the home. More information is available at projectchildsafe.org.
NSSF is the trade association for the firearm industry. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of thousands of manufacturers, distributors, firearm retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen’s organizations and publishers nationwide.
