Our company converted to Celerant recently. The entire process was quick and simple thanks to Quinn McKee and his team at Celerant. We were trained weeks in advance to the go-live date, but of course you’re always going to have more questions. On the go-live day every team member answered every question I had in one quick phone call. No sitting on hold or trying to get to the correct person to help. Pros: This system is amazing! The system is easy to use and it is very customizable.

We use QB online as our GL and the integration worked amazing!

Cons: There wasn’t much that we weren’t able to do with Celerant, Everything we needed was in the system.

We use this every day and it works fantastic.

PROS

Robust reporting that allows you to get a in-depth view of your business.

The POS terminal is easy to use so time training new employees is minimal.

The ability to mass update your data is a huge time saver.

CONS

Certain types of reports cant pull all of the data you need. Ex. Inventory reports can not pull data from Merchandise sold ect.

Building and updating promotions and markdowns are brand or department based. Doing single or multiple items can be done but has to be done by upload.

Pros: 7 locations. 20 Employees. Celerant is an excellent, easy to use, cost effective platform.

Cons: There is really nothing that would be a deal breaker, maybe long wait times when trying to install new stations.

Overall: Due to Quickbooks shutting down, we moved to Celerant because their platform is very robust and cost-efficient. We have been using it for about seven months now and it’s been great, especially because our Implementation Manager Dave Libby is available for any questions at any time, he made the whole process painless and easy. I would recommend Celerant.

The Best System on the Market we are so Happy with the service!!!!

After years of worrying about making the move and upgrading our POS system, we finally decided to do it with Celerant Technology. So far, 2 months in, we have had a much smoother transition than we could have imagined. We not only upgraded our POS for 6 stores, but we added a new, 7th store at the same time. Dave was incredibly patient with our questions, and very thorough in his training. If he didn’t have the answer, he would go and find it. Though there were glitches along the way, overall the task that was ahead of us was handled wonderfully be Celerant and the team that we worked with.

PROS

For us, we really appreciate the ability to be live in multiple locations all at once — being able to see the sales and inventory movement all instantly is huge. We also like the fact that it can essentially be accessed from anywhere, on the appropriate machines, as long as you have an internet connection.

CONS

I think the thing we struggled with the most was having to build out reports that would fit our needs, but this is probably more on us as a company than the software itself.
