Zach Muster, Kinsey’s: Kinsey’s has been in the wholesale distribution game for the outdoor industry since 1952. We started in a small chicken coop in the backyard of Mr. Kinsey’s house, and we have grown into what it is today as the premier four seasons distributor.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer every dealer, from home-based to big box office stores, everything they need in one order. You can do the smallest of items, from fletchings, and bullet points, and glue. All the way up to pallets of ammunition, truckloads of ammunition.
Anything you need, we can cater to you. We truly try and customize the experience for the dealer so that you are more of a partner with us rather than just an account.
So we have gone back and forth with the mass project of trying to get integrated with multiple different partners, and we have found a lot of success with Celerant. It’s given our dealers an opportunity, as well as ourselves, to modernize what we’re doing and really kind of get with the times.
Celerant has given our dealers an amazing opportunity to diversify their inventory and what they offer to their customers, specifically going from the gun into the archery space.
A lot of our gun shops, which might be used to dealing with smaller margin items like firearms and ammunition, are now having the ability to offer really high margin, high-dollar items such as crossbows, bolts, broadheads, range finders, and things of that nature.
They can offer that through Celerant by the ability to have our entire catalog and not have to stock the product. It’s been huge.
Michele Salerno, Celerant: We have hundreds of dealers using our integration with Kinsey’s. We integrate with Kinsey’s for in-store and online eCommerce. So we’re really making it easier for our dealers to run their business. And what that means is that in their store, they can build their product catalog with just a couple of clicks.
The Kinsey’s catalog is integrated right within our point of sale. They can also create purchase orders and send them electronically through our software. For online sales, we pull the Kinsey’s online product feed.
It pulls on-hand product descriptions and product images. Our dealers can sell on their website anything that Kinsey’s has in stock in their massive warehouse. And then Kinsey’s will drop ship on their behalf.

And as we’ve grown into the FFL space, having them as a stable backing in our corner for us has been really, really, really valuable to us and also our dealers as well.
