My name is Jim Monroe and I’m from Sunset Shoes in the Panhandle of Florida.
We are based out of Miramar Beach, Florida and we have six locations ranging from Panama City to Destin.
We’ve been in business for almost 26 years now.

Our brand specializes in comfort shoes. Every brand we carry, be it sneakers or women’s boutique dress shoes, all have to have a comfort factor, not just fashion.

So far we’ve been quite happy with what Celerant. It has been able to offer our business, especially as we’ve grown to where we are now with six stores.

Even through those trials, Celerant still won because of the feature set that some of these other big names didn’t offer.
Managing Disparate Parts of a Business Easily in One Place
Quick transfers, for instance, is a really big thing for us because between all of our stores, we transfer merchandise every day, but we don’t have to keep the same inventory in all stores.
So that really helps out because we’re constantly moving product. Just a pair of shoes here, a shirt here, that gives us some sort of control with the inventory that we didn’t have prior to Celerant.
System Support from a Provider That’s Ready to Help When You Need It
The support’s the best thing for me because coming from other point of sale systems in the past, if there’s a problem, you can just call up and have it dealt with, whereas some other companies, the support’s just not as instantaneous as what Celerant offers.
Breaking Into New Omnichannel Retail Opportunities Via eCommerce
We are really looking forward to adding the online store add-on to Celerant because we think for our business, that’s our next storefront to open online.
